Renato is one of the IVR’s graduate students, and a member of the MSTP program at the University of Iowa. He completed his BS at The University of Iowa in 2021 and worked with the IVR in 2022. Renato officially joined the IVR in 2024 and will be studying inherited retinal disease and age-related macular degeneration. Outside of lab he enjoys building and driving old cars and spending time with his friends, family, and cat Cece.
